In 2024, Waters Meet Action Fund (formerly Empire Health Community Advocacy Fund) kicked off an ongoing partnership with re:power, a Pro-Black organization centering women of color and trans and gender-expansive people of color that builds community power and organizing skills across the country. The first training brought partners from across the Spokane-community together to build their storytelling skills. We hope you enjoy learning a bit about this work to uplift diverse community voices. This partnership is just getting started and we look forward to sharing more in the future as we continue to build power among traditionally underserved communities in Spokane and eastern Washington.
